For artists & designers

Turn your artwork into fine bone china

We work with illustrators, artists and designers who want their work on beautifully finished ceramics to sell in their own shops, at fairs and through stockists. Send us your artwork and we'll handle the rest: sourcing the ware, preparing your files, printing the transfers, decorating by hand and firing, all under one roof in Stoke-on-Trent.

Why artists choose us

Crafted properly, manufactured in England

Your artwork, reproduced with care

Our design team prepares your files for ceramic printing and adjusts colours so the finished piece is as close as possible to your original.

Start small, then scale up

Digital printing has no minimum, so you can test a design with a small run. When it sells, move to silkscreen for richer colour on larger runs.

Your designs stay yours

We never sell, show or reuse your artwork. What we make for you is yours to sell.

Manufactured in Stoke-on-Trent

Fine bone china from the home of British ceramics, something your customers will value.

Your name on the base

Add your own backstamp, such as your logo, signature or a short message, to the underside of every piece.

Easy repeat orders

When a design sells out, come back for more. We'll quote and turn it round quickly.

How it works

From your artwork to finished china

  1. Send us your artwork. Tell us which pieces you'd like, roughly how many and when you need them.
  2. We advise and prepare. We'll recommend the best print method for your design and quantity, and get your files print-ready.
  3. Free mockup & quote. See your artwork on your chosen pieces before you commit.
  4. Approve your proof. Nothing goes into production until you're happy.
  5. We print, decorate and fire. Transfers printed in our own print room, applied by hand and kiln-fired so the design is permanent.
  6. Checked, packed and delivered to you or your warehouse, ready to sell.

Print methods

Which printing suits your design?

Digital printing

No minimum order, so it's ideal for testing new designs and small runs. Colours are less vibrant than silkscreen.

Silkscreen (CMYK)

Richer, more vibrant colour for larger runs. A minimum quantity applies.

Spot colour

The most accurate way to match specific colours. The premium option.

Not sure which is right? Send us your artwork and we'll recommend the best option. More about our printing →

Free mockup

Common questions

Is there a minimum order?

Not for digitally printed designs, so you can start with a small run to test a design. Silkscreen printing has minimum quantities and suits larger runs with richer colour. Tell us your quantity and we'll recommend the best option.

Will the colours match my artwork exactly?

Ceramic printing is always an interpretation of your artwork, but our designers adjust colours so the finished piece is as close as possible to your original. Your free mockup and proof let you check before anything is made. For precise colour matching, spot colour printing is the most accurate option.

What files do I need to send?

A vector file (AI, EPS or PDF) gives the best result. If your work is hand-drawn or painted, send a high-resolution scan (400dpi or more). See our artwork guide, or just send what you have and we'll advise.

Which products can I use?

Any piece from our whiteware range: mugs, tankards, cups and saucers, plates, jugs, egg cups and more.

Can I sell the finished pieces as my own?

Yes. Your designs are yours: we never sell, show or reuse your artwork. You can also add your own backstamp to the base of each piece.

Can I have a sample?

Yes. We can send a plain whiteware sample of the shape you're considering so you can check the size, weight and quality. Please note samples are plain and undecorated, not printed with your artwork. Your free mockup and proof show how your design will look.

How long will it take?

Lead times depend on the product, quantity and print method. We'll confirm a lead time with your quote. If you're working towards a launch, fair or Christmas, tell us up front.

How do my customers look after it?

Every piece is kiln-fired, so the decoration is permanent. Care depends on the finish (metallics and gold need more care than colour). See our care guide.
